Mesa Tactical expanded its selection of SureShell Shotshell Carriers to include offerings specifically designed for use with the popular FN SLP.
Since its introduction in 2005, the SureShell shotshell carrier has quickly become the industry’s professional standard for on-gun shotgun ammunition storage for tactical professionals. Law enforcement agencies across the nation rely on SureShell carriers for their unmatched reliability and heavy-duty construction. SureShell carriers are available in a wide variety of configurations, work well in virtually all climates and are designed to endure years of daily use and abuse.
SureShell carriers are fabricated from high-quality 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum and are bead blasted and mil-spec hard anodized for a rugged non-glare finish, while an innovative rubber friction retention system ensures reliable ammunition containment. The new SureShell carriers for the FN SLP will be offered in four-, six- and eight-shot versions and will incorporate a new Chicago screw fastener system that secures the assembly to the shotgun without placing excessive force on the receiver. SureShell carriers are also available for the Remington 870, Remington semi-automatics, Mossberg 500, Mossberg 590, Mossberg 930, Benelli M1, Benelli M2, Benelli M3 and Benelli M4.
In addition to traditional receiver-mounting units, Mesa Tactical offers SureShell carriers that can be mounted on Benelli stocks, as well as an adaptor for the M4 SOPMOD style buttstocks. SureShell carriers can be mounted directly to Mesa Tactical telescoping stock adapters, and there is a line of SureShell carriers for the Remington and Benelli shotguns that include integrated Picatinny optics rails.
